Mark will discuss why you should network in the current environment and share tips for maximising your time, resources and developing your network.

Mark believes that networking is the key to business growth and success. His passion for networking and public speaking has helped him achieve his goals in business and he shares that by putting the time and effort into networking to help other business owners reap the rewards.

Ten years ago Mark took over The Networking Group.  He wanted TNG to be different to other networking groups, in the sense that he wished to create a relaxed atmosphere for business owners to network and grow through word of mouth marketing. Mark’s book on “How To Grow Your Business Through Networking” is given to all TNG members and offers his knowledge and lessons learnt to business owners across New Zealand.

Mark is witty and personable and he is always happy to share his knowledge and ideas.

BIO: I am a mortgage broker/adviser based in Auckland. Providing advice and helping you through the process of getting a mortgage, giving insight on your mortgage structure, and accessing the best rates is what I do, whether you are buying a home for the first time, looking at refinancing, or want to purchase a second (or third, or fourth…) property.

It really doesn’t have to be like that! Let’s take a look at some examples… Have you ever been told you must go to the gym to lose weight – well what if you hate the gym? Or you should run for 30 minutes or don’t bother – what if you hate running or don’t have 30 minutes up your sleeve? You might have been recommended a DIEt because it worked for that person – you may think the food in that DIEt is yuck, so why would you? Maybe a pill to help you lose weight (burn fat) – did you take one to gain weight… NOO. You already know the answers to these questions, they’re all just common sense so keep it simple and ignore the confusing jargon out there.
