We’re delighted to have Chris Taylor from Winning Habits as a guest speaker at our next Christchurch TNG meeting. Please do join us for this thought-provoking session!
Who is Chris?
Chris was born and brought up in the North East of England (Newcastle upon-Tyne). Having studied in London and at home in Newcastle, then working for ten years, Chris came to New Zealand in 2003 at 33 years old to work as a consulting engineer. He has lived and worked in Christchurch since 2004. In 2012 Chris took the plunge in to a new career as a business coach with Winning Habits.
What are Winning Habits?
Winning Habits, as the name suggests, focuses upon coaching business owners to help them engender and embrace winning habits as once the healthy positive habits are in place, they inevitably bear fruit in terms of business achievement and performance. This can take discipline and time, no question, however the benefits can be life changing.
Winning habits are manifested through Chris’ work in various ways and some personal maxims which hold personal meaning. Striving to be consistent, not perfect; being emotionally committed to deliver and ride those bumps (bumps can provide great learning opportunities), and lastly doing the little things right, day in, day out. Chris works and coaches ambitious individuals, teams and leaders to breakthrough barriers of mind manifestation.
Chris’ purpose
Chris’ purpose is simple. To provide clarity and add value at all times, focusing upon his clients growth, fulfilment and success.
“All barriers are mind constructs, walls, humans are great at building these walls. The good news? We can take them down too” – Chris Taylor
What is Belbin Team Roles theory?
Belbin’s theory of team roles identified that nine different personality types can be found in teams. These are the resource investigator, team worker, co-ordinator, plant, monitor evaluator, specialist, shaper, implementer and complete-finisher, which are divided into three different categories.
